Submission Guidelines for IJCMI

- General Submission Information
- Your paper should not have been previously published or be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Submit your paper electronically through the IJCMI online system.
- All papers are subject to peer review.
- After acceptance, authors must sign a copyright transfer agreement with IJCMI.
- Papers accepted for publication will be available free online.
- Manuscript Length and Review Process
- Research articles are usually 5 to 20 pages long.
- The review process may take approximately 10-20 days.
- Shorter or longer articles may be accepted with appropriate reasoning.
- Follow IJCMI guidelines for preparing manuscripts. An article sample template is available (MS Word).
- Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be written in English.
- The file must be in Microsoft Word format with 1 line spacing on A4 size pages.
- Use Times New Roman font.
- Title of the Paper: Font size 18, Style- Bold, Color: Maroon Red
- ABSTRACT: Font size 12, Style- Bold, Regular
- Main Heading: Font size 12
- Content: Font size 11
- The first page must be a title page listing all authors with their organizational affiliations, Orcid IDs, and email IDs. Mention the corresponding author's contact number.
- Do not include authors' names anywhere in the manuscript except on the first page.
- Include a maximum 250-word abstract with a minimum of 5 keywords next to the title page.
- Figures must be high resolution and clear with descriptive headings.
- Include a minimum of 10 references in scholarly papers, with at least 50% journal references. These must be cited in the body of the text.
- References should follow APA style and include Google Scholar or Crossref hyperlinks.
- Reference Formatting
- Journal Paper: Surname, Initial. (Year). Title of the paper. Journal Name, Volume number(Issue Number), Page Number. Available from: [DOI or URL]
- Example: Osama Al-Baik et al. (2024). Pufferfish Optimization Algorithm: A New Bio-Inspired Metaheuristic Algorithm for Solving Optimization Problems. Biomimetics, 9(2), 65. Available from: https://doi.org/10.3390/biomimetics9020065
- Book Reference: Surname, Initial. (Year). Title of the book. Publisher.

- Ph.D. Thesis: Author. (Year). Title of thesis. University, Country.

- Additional Submission Requirements
- Fill and submit a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the author(s) along with your manuscript.
- Processing Charges
- There are no submission, processing, or publication fees for authors. The publication costs are sponsored by Srinivas University and A. Shama Rao Foundation, Mangalore.
- Publication Process a) Authors receive a confirmation email with an ID after manuscript submission. b) Manuscripts are checked for plagiarism. c) Manuscripts undergo double-blinded peer review. d) Based on the review, the editor decides to accept, reject, or request revisions. e) Authors receive an acceptance notification within 5 to 7 days if the manuscript is accepted.
